Michael's Banquet House offers the very best in special occasion dining, specializing in all types of events such as: wedding receptions, corporate and social events, school proms, award banquets, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, quinceaneros, fundraisers, church events, luncheons, seminars, trade shows, memorial luncheons, Sunday brunch events, cocktail galas and more. Occasionally, Michael's Banquet House will produce and host open to the public events such as: luncheon and dinner shows, Easter brunch, comedy shows, cigar and cognac dinners.
Michael's Banquet House is a completely private banquet facility, hosting only one event at a time. Michael's Banquet House a Union House, proud member of Local 471 Workers United for over 40 years. Michael's Banquet House can accommodate a Luncheon Buffet for 50 guests or a Cocktail Reception Gala for uo to 1,000 guests. Please see the event menus to the left for guest minimums.
Michael's Banquet House offers the following amenities included at no additional charge: Event name on outdoor marques, completely private facility with free and convenient parking, CD music for cocktail hour and dinner time, union affiliated, floor length table linen and cloth napkin in a variety of colors to choose from, oil lamp centerpiece for guest tables, use of microphone with PA system, large recessed projection screen with ceiling mounted projector, podium, high speed wireless internet, centrally located between Albany and Saratoga, Troy and Schenectady New York, great food and service.
Michael’s Banquet House offers additional amenities for Wedding Packages including: fresh floral centerpieces, wedding cake, champagne toast, white glove butler serviced hors d’oeuvres along with a complete cold hors d’oeuvre display. Four meal choices for your guest to select from like roast prime rib of beef, ginger salmon with a warm citrus sauce, eggplant napoleon and chicken Marsala. Michael’s Banquet House can also host your on site wedding ceremony.
Rick Treacy is the owner and executive chef. Rick is a proud US Navy Veteran, serving our great country from 1973 to 1977, most of that time steaming around the world aboard the USS Macdonough, home ported out of Charleston South Carolina. Rick is married to his lovely wife, Juanita, (going on 36 years). Rick and Juanita have three lovely daughters and two wonderful grandsons. Rick and Juanita are Christians attending Light of The World Christian Church in Latham, New York. Rick is an award winning chef, winning the US Navy and Airforce's Culinary Nay/Hennessey Award in 1976 receiving a summer scholarship to Cornell University.
